Locator/Receiver 2250
The 3M Dynatel™ 2250 Advanced Cable Locator/ Receiver is for locating buried cables or Active Duct Probes (sondes). It also measures and pinpoints conductor faults in aerial cables.
The digital receiver provides four locating modes to accomplish fast tracing and to pinpoint or verify a buried cable. The receiver detects 50 to 60Hz AC power signals, measures the signal current in a cable and displays it’s magnitude. The depth of the buried cable or sonde may also be displayed.
The Receiver, as mentioned, operates on multiple frequencies, including 512Hz. All Ratech cameras, excluding the Ultra Micro, come standard with an in-line built-in 512Hz transmitter. The Ratech family of small pipeline inspection camera systems including the PH JR.©, the Fast Peek©, the PMV©, and the entire Elite line all have a transmitter provided at no extra cost.
